These are a beautiful Pair of Hand coloured Stipple Engravings dating to 1799. They are superbly framed and the frames were made for them. They are named 'Gathering Fruit', 'Gathering Wood' and were painted by George Morland. This pair are engravings after the original by the famed engraver Robert Meadows and are dated 1799. They were published by IR Smith of London. They do have a little fading but after 220 years one would expect some fading but overall they are in good condition.
